sabitaSABITA RADHAKRISHNA is a freelance writer and broadcaster and has been associated for over twenty years with Doordarshan and A.I.R. as a script writer and programme hostess.
Her play Song of the Loom was staged by Madras Players in March 08.
Sabita Radhakrishna has had hands-on experience with textiles for over 30 years. An active Executive Member of the Crafts Council of India, she is Senior Consultant at Kalakshetra Foundation’s Craft Education and Research Centre. Sabita writes a food column for a new magazine called INBOX 1305.
Sabita heads the Literary Hub Committee at the Madras Gymkhana Club, organizing poetry reading, play reading and interviews with successful authors…

The book has qualified for the Gourmand Best
in the World Competition the results of which will be announced  in February 2010

playSONG OF THE LOOM by Sabita Radhakrishna, directed by TT Srinath and Indrani Krishnaier was staged by Madras Players in association with Crafts Council of India on 21st,22nd, 23rd March 2008 at Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium.
